Meet the Team: Micki Noyes

June 26, 2019

Through the month of June and into July, we'll be introducing one of our team members every week.

This week, meet our Marketing Director, Micki! Micki is a Sioux Falls native, an SDSU graduate, and a soon-to-be mom.

What is your favorite architectural style?
I didn’t study architecture, so my answer may be a little naïve, but I am simply enamored by Gothic Architecture.

What is your favorite memory so far at RSArchitects?
Every quarter we have a volunteer outing as part of our “Operation RSA.” My favorite one so far was when we volunteered for Habitat for Humanity. We helped put the ICF blocks together, which was a really neat experience – they are a lot like legos!

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
I really enjoy traveling, even if it’s just to a small South Dakota town I’ve never been to, or to a city I’ve visited over and over again.

What is your latest adventure?
My husband and I have just embarked on the journey of building a home – wish us luck!!

What is your dream vacation?
There are many places in the world I’d like to travel to – if we are really talking dream vacation, then I’d like to take a year to travel around Europe! I’d probably spend the most time in Ireland, England, Italy, Greece, and revisiting Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (I was lucky enough to visit these 3 countries over 2 weeks in high school). I wouldn’t say no to an African Safari, or Outback Adventure either!

Where is your favorite place in South Dakota?
I just recently discovered Devil’s Bathtub in Spearfish – so much fun!!! I really enjoy the entire Spearfish area.

Which team do you always cheer for?
I married into the Denver Broncos – luckily I didn’t already have a favorite NFL team before I met Jason, and the Broncos weren’t one of the few NFL teams I disliked. Now I'm a true Broncos fan!

What TV show could you binge on all weekend?
Almost all of the house-flipping shows on HGTV: Property Brothers, Fixer Upper, Flip or Flop, Bargain Mansions…

What is something people might find surprising about you?
I’ve only had 8 actual birthdays, since I was born on the 29th of February – Leap Year. AND I share this birthday with my Great-great-grandmother; we celebrated my 4th and her 100th birthday together.
