Bethany Reformed Church

RSArchitects had the honor of designing a new sanctuary for Bethany Reformed Church in Canton, SD. In addition to a new sanctuary and large open narthex, the church also added a new pastor’s office, an office for the ministry coordinator, a conference room, a reception workspace, a workroom, a pantry connected to the existing kitchen, and a mechanical/janitor’s room. The new building includes a new main entrance with a covered carport for loading/unloading passengers. This new entrance provides a warm welcome. AVA Associates, Inc. was brought on as a consultant during the planning phases, to ensure that the new sanctuary would be designed to provide a space that would sound as great as it looked and functioned.
