Watertown Fire Department

After the successful completion of the Watertown Police Department, RSArchitects was hired by the City of Watertown to design a new fire station. Site evaluation and selection was a significant component during the initial planning phase. A consensus was reached to support the existing downtown site. The plans included a two-story administrative addition featuring a reception area, offices, a training center, sleeping headquarters, a fitness area with showers, a kitchen and living space. The project also included the renovation four existing bays and the addition of two more bays to accommodate larger trucks.
